Meet Ashley Huerta: From Death Investigations to Basketball Coaching—She’s Got Skills (and Shoes)
Ashley Huerta might’ve swapped the bright lights of Denver for the quiet charm of Beaver City, but don’t let the small-town vibe fool you—this woman is a total powerhouse. After 6 years working as an autopsy tech and death investigator in Denver, Ashley moved back to her hometown three years ago.
These days, Ashley’s juggling a handful of businesses with her wife, Wendy. Together, they own LivinQuarters LLC and LQ Painting, offering affordable housing and literally painting the town. She’s also the brainpower behind Next Level Mental Performance, where she coaches athletes on how to visualize their way to success.
And just when you thought her schedule couldn’t get any busier, Ashley also works seasonal gigs with TwoPTurf and has been the assistant girls' basketball coach at Southern Valley for the past three years. But this year? She’s stepping up as the head boys’ coach where she hopes to use her expertise to create confidence and culture.
Ashley’s downtime is all about spending quality time with her wife, family, friends, and her loyal black lab, Dez. Whether it’s watching movies, playing sports, road-tripping, or hitting the golf course, she’s living life to the fullest. And when she’s not being a total boss in all her endeavors, you’ll likely find her indulging in two serious addictions: shoes and dark chocolate.
