Meet Haley Booe: From Surgery to Show Ring
Haley Booe was born and raised in Oxford and has spent the past 20 years working as a nurse, mostly in surgery. Haley made the leap to Harlan County Health System four years ago, where she kicked off their surgery program. Talk about making an impact!
Haley’s been married to her husband Jared for nearly 18 years, and together, they’ve raised three kids—Gage, Alivia, and Brooklyn. Jared is a man of many talents: he’s co-owner of County Line Seeds, has his own agronomy business (Booe Crop Service), and manages to fit in cattle farming. As for Haley? Well, she tries to help with the cattle from time to time.
When they aren’t busy with farming and kids’ activities, the Booe family loves hitting the lake, running around to various events (because, you know, kids never stop), and of course, shopping.
As for the fair? While Haley’s not exactly thrilled about showing animals (she’s more of an "I'll help raise the money" kind of gal), she’s all in when it comes to supporting a good cause. So, if you see her at the fundraiser, give her a wave and a high-five for all the hard work. She may not be thrilled about the animals, but she’s definitely thrilled to help raise some funds for a great cause!
