Maria Ehrke: From Ballfields & First Grade to the Show Ring!
Meet Maria Ehrke—first grade teacher at Alma, full-time boy mom, part-time sports chauffeur, and self-declared Target addict. She lives for Diet Coke with extra ice, big laughs, and cheering on her three boys—Beckett (13), Cassidy (11), and Jagger (7)—in all the sports, all year long.
For this event, she’s traded her classroom for… a pig pen. 🐖 Yep, she’s been nominated for Showing with the Stars, and while she’s definitely not a farm girl, she is definitely here for the fun and the cause!
Her husband Derek (of Ehrke Seeds and Agedge Insurance) thinks this might be her wildest adventure yet—but she says, why not? Although she might not know much about showing pigs, she does know how to show up for her community.
