Rev. Lee Seong: Showing God's Love – and Livestock!
Rev. Lee Seong has been serving at Alma United Methodist Church for five years. He was born in South Korea and graduated from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas, Missouri, in 2007. He has been serving United Methodist churches in Kansas and Nebraska for 18 years. He enjoys the diverse cultures of the United States, especially participating in rural community activities. His wife, Younee, is a major in organ and piano and considers it a joyful mission to serve the community through music in schools, churches, and nursing homes. They have two children, and what is remarkable is that after being married for 17 years without children, Younee had two children at the late ages of 45 and 47. They believe this is God’;s answer to their prayers and consider it the greatest gift and a miracle. Their two children, Risa and Jerrick, will be in 1st grade and 3rd grade this fall, and they enjoy traveling, sports, and particularly swimming. Seong enjoys playing golf in his free time and is also passionate about gardening. Rev. Lee is pleased to have the opportunity to engage in fundraising for the local community.
